You can set up basic authentication for specific Internet sites when session-based authentication is enabled for the server. In order to take advantage of this feature, the use of Internet Sites must be enabled on the server.
Procedure
1. From the Domino® Administrator, select the Web Site document for which you want to override session authentication and click Edit Document.
2. Click Web Site > Create Rule.
3. On the Basics tab:
b. Specify the incoming URL pattern for the site.
c. On the Domino Web Engine tab of the current Web site document, select Yes or No for When overriding session authentication, generate session cookie.
