ADMINISTERING
The Restart Server command stops the Domino® server and then restarts it after a brief delay.
Details
Before you use Restart Server to stop the server, use the Broadcast server command to warn users so that they can finish their current tasks before you stop the server.
If you stop a server while it is replicating databases or routing mail, these tasks resume at the next scheduled interval after you restart the server. Replication or mail routing continues until the databases are fully replicated and until the complete mail message is transferred or returned to the sender.
Syntax
Restart Server
Note: You can also use the Domino Administrator to restart the server. From the Domino Administrator, click the Server -> Status tab and use the tool Server -> Restart.
