Enabling the Portal server for federated administration

Perform these steps from the IBM® WebSphere® Administration console.

Procedure

1. Select Resources.

2. Select Resource Environment Providers.

3. Click the link for WP ConfigService from the list of available resource environment providers.

4. Select Custom Properties, and then click New.

5. In the Name field, specify federation enabled.

6. In the Value field, specify true.

7. Click Apply.

8. Save the changes.

9. Click Resource environment providersWP ConfigServiceCustom properties, and then click New.

10. In the Name field, specify federation.useAbsoluteURLs.

11. In the Value field, specify true.

12. Click Apply.

13. Save the changes.

14. Restart the Portal server.
