You can view the log file at any time, either before or after you complete a search query of the file.

Procedure

1. From the Domino® Administrator, click the Server -> Analysis tab.

2. Select the server that stores the log file you want to view, and do one of the following:

a. Open the log file (LOG.NSF) directly by clicking Notes Log.

b. If you have just run a log analysis, click OK in the Log Analysis dialog box.


The Log Analysis Results are displayed, and a copy of the results is stored in the Search Results view of the log file.

4. Open the desired document; if you have just completed a search, select the results document you want.

What to do next

You can also view the search results from the Server -> Analysis tab using the command Analyze -> Log Document. This command gives you more details about the events listed in the current log document and allows you to sort the events in several different ways.
