If you enable Notes federated login, use your test user to test that it is working.
Before you begin
1. Start the Notes client and sign in with Notes ID password.
2. When you see the prompt Downloading ID file from Vault to enable Notes federated login, click OK.
3. If Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) is not enabled, the IdP sign-in form is shown. Provide the IdP name and password.
4. When you see the prompt This ID file is enabled for Notes federated login, clickOK.
Results
After completing these steps, you see the following behavior:
1. The IdP authenticates you in the background.
2. The Notes client opens its home page without any password prompt.
3. When you select File -> Security -> User security in the client, the User Securities box opens without prompting for a password.
4. The User Securities box shows the following message:
