Set server console passwords to protect against unauthorized use of the server console.

Procedure

1. From the Domino® Administrator, click the Server -> Status tab.

2. Click Tools -> Server -> Secure console.

3. Do one of the following:

a. To set a password, type the new password in the Console password field, type it again in the Verify field, click Set, and then click OK.

b. To clear a password, type the current password in the Console password field, type it again in the Verify field, click Clear, and then click OK.

c. To change a password, click Change, type the current password in the Current password field, and then type the new password in the New password and Verify the new password fields. Click OK and then click Cancel to complete the change.
