ADMINISTERING
When you open an event to view detail about the event, the Change State button displays. Use this button to change the state of an event. If you change the state of an Event document that is unassigned, the event is assigned to you. If you change the state of an Event document that is assigned to another administrator, the event owner is not changed.
About this task
You can look at the Event Change History section of the Event documents to see previous event state change activity.
To change an event state for one of your own events, you must have a minimum of Author access with the role Change State in the ACL for the Domino® Domain Monitor database (DDM.NSF). To change the state of any event documents, regardless of owner, you must have Editor access with the Change State role in the database ACL. Author access is required to add comments to your own events; Editor access is required to add comments to events owned by another administrator.
Procedure
1. From the Domino Administrator, click the Files tab.
2. Open the Domino Domain Monitor database (DDM.NSF).
3. Select the event whose state you are changing. You can open the event but it is not necessary that you do so.
4. Click Change State and then select the new state.
5. Optional: Enter comments as necessary. Comments are added to the Document Change History section of the Event document.
6. Click OK.
