CONFIGURING

Controlling message delivery

Message delivery occurs when the Router deposits a message in the recipient's mail file. You can control how the Router behaves when delivering messages to mail files on the HCL Domino® server.

For example, you can specify whether messages are always encrypted, how many server threads the Router can use to deliver messages, and what the Router does with messages sent to users whose mail files are larger than the allowed size.

You set delivery controls in the Configuration Settings document on the Router/SMTP -> Restrictions and Controls -> Delivery Controls tab. You can also set quota controls to help control the size of user mail files.
