ADMINISTERING
When removing servers from a DDM collection hierarchy, the removal list includes only servers that are directly subordinate to the selected server. The list of servers does not include servers that are subordinate to the subordinate servers. The first step in deleting a server from the DDM collection hierarchy is to select the parent (collection) server of the subordinate servers to be deleted from the hierarchy. You can then remove one or more subordinate servers from that hierarchy.
