Basic SAML authentication for Web servers allows browser clients to access the Domino Web server by authenticating with SAML. Complete the following tasks to enable basic SAML authentication for Web servers.
Before you begin
Complete the tasks in the section Preparing for SAML authenticationComplete the steps in this section before you configure SAML authentication in Domino.
2. Exporting the Domino web configuration to an .xml file Complete this task to export the configuration information in a Web server IdP configuration document to an .xml file, ServiceProvider.xml. Then, you can import it into the Relying party trust (ADFS) to fill in the Domino information automatically.
3. Setting up a Relying Party Trust for Web servers After you export the Domino web configuration to an .xml file, share the ServiceProvider.xml file with the administrator of your IdP to configure and establish trust with Domino.
4. Enabling SAML authentication in Domino Use this procedure to enable SAML authentication in the Domino directory. Enable SAML in an Internet Site document or in individual Server documents.
5. Testing basic SAML authentication Test basic SAML authentication to ensure that SAML authentication works for accessing web applications.
